What does the Treatment involve?
After an initial consultation we will discuss your expectations and possible results. The non-invasive treatment begins with 2 X 20 minute applications of our whitening gel to the front teeth. The Magenta LED (Lamp) then activates the product and immediately begins the lightening process. 3 sessions may be required for heavily stained teeth. You can achieve up to 10 shades lighter in less than an hour!!
What is the procedure?
A plastic cheek retractor is placed in your mouth and a protective dam is applied to the gums. The whitening gel is gently applied to the front teeth and the Magenta LED is activated for a 20 minute cycle. The whitening gel is removed and re-applied for a second 20 minute cycle. Finally, you can rinse and get ready to flash your amazing dazzling smile which can last up to two years depending on diet, lifestyle and oral hygiene!
How long does it take?
Results will be seen IMMEDIATELY and will continue to improve over the next 24 hours as the gel will still be active. Some whitening is usually visible within 20 minutes of activating the LED. Within an hour every patient will see whiter, brighter teeth!
Does it hurt?
The LoveLite system uses a NEW revolutionary Magenta system which de-sensitises and soothes the gums and teeth at the same time as creating amazing whitening results! Most clients enjoy a comfortable relaxing treatment free from sensitivity.
Will it damage my enamel?
No, it’s a gentle treatment that does not affect the enamel.
Can it whiten crowns or veneers?
Yes, you should expect that they return to their original colour.
Who can’t have their teeth whitened?
Treatment will not be offered to those with chemically induced asthma, pregnancy or breast feeding, under 18 years, on certain medication, or undergoing dental treatment.
How white can i expect my teeth to go?
This depends on the level of discolouration. LoveLite treatments are particularly effective for removing tobacco, coffee and red wine stains.
